I was lying on my bed and I couldn't sleep. Out of curiosity, I clicked on Mr Manno's weebly website and went to the section of grade nine' blogs. There weren't much so I read most of them, to my surprise; I saw some amazing articles that I couldn't even believe they were written by someone who has just got into this American high school. I'm definitely not implying that I don't think they aren't good, it's just, think back to the time that I just came here, writing a 200 words of blog for homework every day was equivalent to suicide. Maybe I am being exaggerated but that's how I felt. At that time, I was worried about the quantity and never even notice about the quality. That wasn't right. Looking at those new students' articles now, I really think they are intelligent and creative. What they are achieving right now has gone beyond what we had when we first got here. I think after a year, they will even go beyond what they have now. That really has got me thinking, what we've been doing and achieving right now is far from enough, so what can we do to make ourselves better and qualified for whatever is there ahead waiting for us? I guess that's the question that I have to figure it out.
